Medicare
At COSI, a percentage of your consultations with a surgeon may be claimed back from Medicare. Please ensure you have your Medicare card with you at the time of your consultation.

Our Medicare Easyclaim system allows you to have your Medicare rebate transferred directly into the debit account from which you make your payment.

The Easyclaim process is not possible by credit card. If you pay by credit card you will have to take your claim to your nearest Medicare office to receive your rebate.

Private health insurance
If you have private health insurance you may be able to claim a rebate from your heath fund in addition to Medicare following surgery by one of the surgeons at COSI.

Please bring your private health fund details, including your level of cover, with you at the time of your first consultation.

Workplace Injury
If your injury or condition is the result of a workplace incident and you have an approved consultation to see one of our orthopaedic surgeons from an Insurance company, please ensure you bring all the claim details with you at the time of your first consultation.
